Trailer Analysis on Wanted - Harris

Yes... it's everyone's favourite again...

I chose this trailer as the plot line and genre is very similar to that of our trailer. Wanted is known for it's special effects and how they are ahead of their time and we're trying to do the same within our media group.

We are aiming this at the teenage demographic which is why we need violence, sex and drugs... However, this movie is rated 15 so we've decided to just include thrilling effects. Wanted is a movie which has fulfilled many conventions effectively. A running monologue is used to let the audience identify with the protagonist of the story. We have taken this effect and added it to our compilation as it fits in with the neo film noir genre.

The trailer uses many extreme close ups on the characters to get the audience familiarised and comfortable with the cast. We will also be including this in our trailer as there will be a still image for every character who newly appears on screen and is important to the movie, in an anime style.

Wanted is probably gonna be shit compared to this...
