After meeting up several times, the three of us have made some minor alterations to the plot, namely with the identities of the characters. While they may not change much, having this down on the blog gives us a clearer understanding of our own production...
· The main character is now going to be called “Zack Dylan”
· The Assassins are now called “The Enma.” At first we wanted to name them Shinigami, which is the god of death (a Japanese Hades), but decided on Enma as, while they mean the same thing, it sounds shorter and more menacing.
· The Assassin who trains Zack will be called “The Enforcer.” We wanted to avoid giving him a name for the same reason that he will be wearing a mask the whole time; we DON’T want the audience to relate to him. This in turn lets the audience connect with Zack more, as they can understand how off-putting it would be to have such an ominous mentor.
· We’ve decided that we want to make the Assassins seem more like the “good guys,” who are killing in the name of justice. The reasoning for this being that we want “The Silencers” to be the anti-heroes, in particular Mr. Bush (*note* We’re yet to confirm if Mr. Bush would be willing to appear in our trailer, but for the sake of simplicity we’ll call the character Mr. Bush until we know otherwise)
